disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

How to lose weight fast and healthily?

I weigh 137 pounds and I really want to lose some weight, because I’m extremely embarrassed to go swimming. I know there’s really no "fast" way to lose weight, but what can I do to lose weight? I always drink water instead of sugary drinks, and I do 100 sit-ups and ballet squats before I go to bed every night. Any other important tips and exercises I can do for great results? Oh and I want to lose fat on my stomach, hips, and I want to tone my legs.

How can I lose weight by summer vacation?

I seriously need to lose about 10-20 pounds before the end of May. I am around the age of 13 and I’m not just losing weight to look skinnier, I am trying to lose weight and get more exercise so that I can do more activities in the summer without getting exhausted very easily. What are some exercises I can do to lose weight around my arms, waist, and legs. And also some healthy food suggestions.

Buy a weighted hula hoop. It works and it’s really easy and doesn’t take up much space, you can even do it inside if you make a little room. Just make sure you get the right size and weight: between 1 1/2 – 2lb (the heavier, the easier to keep it going, too heavy and it’ll be TOO easy, you won’t see results). I’ll put a chart below where you can figure out what size you are.

The idea is to do it for roughly 30 minutes a day in SHORT bouts. So, hula hoop for two minutes hard, then stop, let your heart slow down, and then do it again. I recommend you do it while watching TV. Watch your show, and hoop during the commercials. There are about 22 minutes of commercials during an hour long show.

Make sure you keep it up. It’s really not hard once you get going and it’s more fun than skipping rope, or running, with generally the same results. I’m not saying it won’t take effort, because it will. Rule of thumb is if you don’t feel it, it’s probably not doing anything.

Plus, it’s a cardio/toning excersize. You lose weight and tone up at the same time.

For healthy food, first find out how many calories you can eat a day (Chart below), then make sure you don’t eat over you’re daily limit.

Strawberries and carrots are really good snack foods, because they’re healthy and have very little calories, so it’s hard to eat too many. Other water fruits (Melons, berries) are good, as well as any fruits and vegetables really. Eggs are healthy, easy to make, and they’re good for you. Drink lots of water. If you really want to get healthy, change out what you’d normally drink for water. Water has zero calories, so you won’t be wasting calories on juice or pop. Milk, although it has calories, is still good for you. Drink a glass a day, for the calcium if nothing else.

How to NOT lose weight during Ramadan?

Assalamu alaikum and Ramadan mubarak.

I was underweight before Ramadan began. In just 4 days of fasting I’ve lost another 2 pounds. This usually doesn’t happen to me and I’m eating as much as I normally do. Any advice on how to put on weight?

How to lose weight by school starts?

I stop drinking soda and junk food. I have a wii that I use everyday. How can I lose at least 10 pounds in 20 days?
Im 16. My height is 5′7 and I weight 192Ibs.

I lost 40 pounds in 5 months
here some tips, this is what i do :) :
-make suure you eat a healthy full breakfast will a lot of fiber i recommend( multigrain cheerios mixed with bran flakes)
-Eat smaller portions but more frequently throughout the day for example instead of three large meals eat 6 smaller ones ( this will speed up your metabolism by a lot)
-for snacks eat fruits, veggies and almonds ( not too many almonds) almonds can help you loose weight but too many can do the opposite.
-walk for 30 min a day then do some type of cardiovascular for 30 min
-drink TUNS of water
-drink TUNS of green tea
-don’t drink juice anymore, (a glass of juice is like a full meal)
- do NOT starve yourself, this will lead to overeating and trust me it will. plus if your body is unhealthy than it cannot loose weight properly
-instead of sliced bread eat 100% whole wheat pita pockets ( i like to add some turkey slices, tomatoes , hot peppers lettuce ext.. and grill it all together ) i eat half a pita pocket per meal
-when looking at nutrition facts remember, its not just the calories that count , but the fat, sodium, and carbohydrates
-pick one day of the week to take a break from your diet and eat some treats ( i did this and still lost weight)
-i would also stay away from pasta.

These worked for me and i lost 40 pounds

I am 5 ft 6 and 190lbs. How much weight should I lose before trying to conceive?

I have one child and weighed 161 the day I gave birth to her. I gained 24lbs during my pregnancy. Unfortunatley I have gained a lot of weight since and am wanting to give her a sibling. How much do I need to lose? Any advice on how to lose it. I know you take in less calories than you burn. But I am having trouble suppressing appetite, Help!

To be in normal BMI I would say you would need to get down to 140 to be at a normal weight.
